Kitty Litter Cake

Friday night our street and the cul de sac connecting to it had a backyard bbq.  It was actually a front yard bbq in the street and  on sidewalks.  It was a lot of fun ( I went solo) as John was still in OC.  Actually having dinner with Petie and Papa while they were camping in San Clemente.  It was a great time to meet neighbors, visit and just socialize before the new school year.  Each family was to bring their own bbq item and either a side (if your add was an odd) or dessert (if your add. was even).  We'll were even.  I had a recipe from last year that I had been wanting to make.   I figured cats poop in backyards, this is a backyard bbq and so, kitty litter cake.  As you can see it is very realistic and funny.  Just let me know if you want the recipe :)

Ooh, Cass, that's gross. I'm relieved to see it's just a cake. I thought you'd become one of those eccentric Southerners already!

Hey lady,
would love this recipe, I'm suppose to bring a dessert to Debi's house on Monday night for an informal pta meeting, sounds like a fun one.
So, leave it to you for bringing in the fun stuff:)

Hey Stranger-
I just got caught up on your blog. We got back last week from my mom's 90th Bday Mexican Riviera Cruise. It was a blast, but most of July was like planning for a wedding! We had themes planned out every night. I will send you the link to the pics. Highlight was swimming w/the dolphins. OK, the cake just reminded me..I need to got change Cheeto the cat's box!!!! I can see that the kids actually attending school would be the real reality slap in the face that this in not a vacation anymore. As far as your road trip, don't they rock?!!! I thought we would have crabby kids wanting to kill each other in the car, and they actually were troopers and we all have some great memories of our 15 state marathon summer 2007. If John has any time to golf while he's out here, have him give Chris a call. Miss you and lots of love to the kids. Team Stark

Hey Catherine...
So good to catch up with your family on your blog -- you guys have been BUSY!!! We just recently returned from a few days in Portland with my sis (via plane) and a few days camping at Dinkey Creek (via car - 7 hours!) I can't believe the kids are already in school. Yeah for you! (If we survive the last 10 days of summer, it will be a miracle!) OK, we ALL miss you so much. You were especially thought of yesterday as I was changing the marquis at school!!! Oh, good times... I promise to call you back soon! -- Michelle
